Makenzie Medford ’26, Editor in Chief
My name is Makenzie Medford and I am part of the Class of 2026. This is my first year as Editor in Chief of The Lance, and my third year on the paper. This year, I have also taken a spot on the social media team. Previously, I held the positions of Staff Writer (freshmen year) and School News Editor (sophomore year). Other than writing for the paper at school, I am a member of WiSTEM, SASA, National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, and Quill and Scroll Honor Society. Outside of school, I play club soccer and I am a member of the Core Team at Holy Spirit. I am very excited to see what’s in store for the paper in the future! .
