As the first twinkle lights of the season appear, Starbucks welcomed back its winter menu on Nov. 6 with familiar favorites like Peppermint Mocha and Iced Sugar Cookie Latte.
As the pumpkins are packed away, Starbucks swaps its fall flavors for snowflakes and festive cheer. The return of the winter menu marks the start of the holiday season, bringing back fan favorite drinks like the Caramel Brulée Latte. This year, Starbucks also introduced limited-edition bear shaped cups, which quickly became a social media sensation as customers rushed to collect them. The seasonal menu and merchandise drop have become a tradition for fans, but more so a signal that the holidays have officially begun.
Bishop Gorman students have taken part and tried the winter menu, with many saying the festive drinks add a little extra holiday spirit to their school days.
“My favorite holiday drink is the iced sugar cookie latte because it is not too sweet, unlike some of the other drinks,” said Grace Medford ‘29.
The holiday season has officially begun, with Starbucks’ winter menu bringing the holiday spirit to every cup. As the season continues, fan favorites like the Eggnog Latte and Chestnut Praline Latte will join the lineup, making this year’s holiday menu one of the most festive yet.
