The Bishop Gorman Gaels bowling team had a strong and steady season that carried them all the way to state competition. Their success was highlighted on senior night, where the Gaels celebrated their seniors last season while continuing to build momentum heading into the state championship
Senior night was especially meaningful for the team, including the underclassmen who built close relationships with the seniors over their years at Gorman. Demilianno said, “I have known these seniors for years, they are great mentors, we built great friendships with them, it’s going to be sad to see them go,” Demiliano said.
Captain Messer credited a lot of the team’s success to its skill throughout the lanes. “We got a lot of good bowlers that know how to play the lanes and shoot high,” Messer said.
Captain Whidden emphasized the team’s chemistry throughout the season. “We’re all there for each other,” Whidden said.
