To end homecoming week, the seniors took to the streets with their Senior Parade to celebrate their final homecoming as high school students; the parade brought energy and school spirit to campus as the class of 2026 made their presence known.
A well known tradition at Bishop Gorman, the senior parade brings the graduating class together for one final hurrah to close their last homecoming week, riding scooters, wearing decorated senior crowns, and parading through campus to celebrate their high school journey.
The senior parade is something students have been looking forward to since the beginning of their senior year, and now that moment has finally come. “To me, it’s just a cool way to celebrate everything we’ve worked for. It’s that moment where you realize you’re the seniors, and it feels good to take it all in with the people who’ve been there since day one,” said Izabella Slyman ‘26.
It was surreal to the students because this meant that the next time the class of 2026 will be together in a setting like this is on their last day of school for their senior BBQ.
After the parade seniors enjoyed donuts and took plenty of photos to capture the memories of this special day. “My favorite part of the senior parade was where we met after and had donuts and took pictures,” said Micaela Sells ‘26.
In the end, the parade was more than just a celebration but it was a moment for the Class of 2026 to come together and create memories that will stay with them long after graduation. “This tradition fuses us into a collective rhythm, transforming four years of parallel paths into one shared crescendo of memory, laughter, and moral triumph,” said Zachary Coneh ‘26.
