On March 7, Tyler, The Creator took the stage at the MGM Grand Garden Arena to perform his latest album, “Chromakopia”, delivering an unforgettable show that left the audience with a night to remember.
Las Vegas marked the 14th performance of Tyler, The Creator’s “Chromakopia” world tour; he was able to “bring the light” alongside his special guests Paris Texas and Lil Yachty. Throughout the tour, Tyler has been breaking records, including being recognized in California for having the longest hip-hop residency in the Crypto.com Area’s history.
At 6:30 p.m., the MGM Grand Garden Arena opened its doors to eager fans, who rushed in to be some of the first people to grab exclusive “Chromakopia” merchandise at the stands. Fans were dressed to impress in fur hats, vintage styles, and most importantly, in shades of green to celebrate Tyler’s new album, “Chromakopia”. Shortly after the doors opened fans were conversing with each other, sharing their excitement about the one-of-a-kind show they were about to witness and the chance to see Tyler, the Creator live.
The show was about to begin, with opener Paris Texas taking the stage first, followed by Lil Yachty. Finally, Tyler, The Creator took the stage.

“NEW MAGIC WAND.”
At 9:33 p.m., the lights dimmed, fans were on their feet, and the air was filled with cheers as the glowing green stage opened up to reveal Tyler, The Creator. The show kicked off with the first track of “Chromakopia”, “St. Chroma.” The first four songs he performed were all from his current album, including “Rah Tah Tah,” “Noid,” “Darling, I,” and “Judge Judy.” He then jumped onto a hanging stage where he was above the pit and performed the song “Sticky,” tossing money to the fans as he performed.
As the show continued he moved to a different stage that was in the middle of the pit. This stage was set up as a bedroom with a couch, record player, and a piano. “I was on the floor, and it didn’t really feel real,” Calvin Abin ‘27 said. At this stage is where he performed his older songs such as, “EARFQUAKE,” “I THINK,” “She,” and “WUSYANAME.”
The show had become unforgettable to many fans when they sang Happy Birthday to Tyler, celebrating his 34th birthday, which had been the day before. Tyler then spoke to the crowd about being in the spotlight since he was 19 and how his latest album has become his biggest to this day. “I think it’s insane because he’s pretty old for a performer and he had so much energy and was bouncing around the stage throughout the entire duration of the show,” Geneva Miller ‘26 said.
The show was coming to an end when he played a few of his most popular songs: “Like Him,” “See you again,” and “NEW MAGIC WAND.” Tyler was able to deliver a show that fans will always remember. To conclude the show, Tyler performed his final song, “I Hope You Find Your Way Home,” leaving the crowd with a lasting emotional moment.
