Hi! My name is Makenzie Medford and I am part of the Class of 2026. This is my second year writing for The Lance, and I am currently the School News Editor and my section also covers Campus Ministry. This is my second year on the BGHS JV women’s soccer team. This year, I am the goalie on the team. Some of my favorite things to do are reading, writing, going to Swains Creek and Duck Creek, binge watching The Office and Gilmore Girls, and watching MLS and EPL soccer and hockey, especially the VGK hockey. Occasionally, my sisters and I will watch a Notre Dame football game together. I am excited for this year, and my years to come on the Lance.
