Mission Statement

The Lance is a publication at Bishop Gorman High School that is student-generated through the efforts and decisions of the publication’s advisors and editorial board.  It is the product of the Journalism class designed to serve both the students of Bishop Gorman High School and the community of Las Vegas.  The online newspaper experience provides staff members with opportunities for independent research, organizational growth, and motivational planning as well as writing development. Unless specified as otherwise, all content is online-exclusive.
