With the arrival of the 2022 Bishop Gorman Homecoming, students and players were amped up about the Homecoming football game.

This Homecoming game was like no other, despite the lights going out in the third quarter, the Gorman Gaels still ended up destroying the Legacy Longhorns by 69 to 0.   Senior Jeremiah Hughes discussed the teams performance saying, “I think we had a pretty good performance, I think it was just like any other game.”

At the start of the football game, the Gorman theater performed the Pledge of Allegiance, “At first I was nervous,” performer Riley Hermenegildo stated, “But then my voice got better and we were so good.”

The student section had a blast demonstrated by their enthusiastic cheers, even singing together when the lights unexpectedly went out.  The Bishop Gorman Homecoming game was truly a success, “it was worth it and I feel like every snap of a football is a good snap,” Jeremiah Hughes claimed.
