i wish you could see yourself through my eyes. 

sure, i may see you with rose colored glasses. 

but you still look the same when i take them off. 

but, you’re a natural nit-picker. 

you tear yourself apart as an effect of your environment. 

your mind was given a magnifying glass that makes yourself out to be meager.

it minimizes your radiance by enhancing marks that don’t shine as brightly. 

but let me remind you that even though the shine is softer, it’s still shimmering. 

i challenge you to throw away that magnifying glass. 

because in my eyes, you are perfect without rose colored glasses.
