Bishop Gorman sophomore JV women’s soccer player, Francesca Gregoryan, took a shot, and went down with a torn ACL early in the season.

In an interview on September 28, just two days after her surgery, she stated, “I think by this time next year I will be back in club (soccer) and everything. It all depends on how my processes with physical therapy goes once I start doing it, and how quickly my body heals.”

When asked if this affects her soccer goals, she kept her optimistic outlook and expressed her eagerness and determination to play again, “if I continue to work really hard and train, I will be back to the way I was. If I just have a positive attitude, then I think I will get back on the field.”

Having a positive attitude and being ready to face new challenges will help her reach her goal of playing again next year, “I am determined to get back on the field,” she said. It is evident that with her attitude she will be dribbling the ball, ripping through defenders and crushing any challenges that come her way sooner than later. “I am going to make the full recovery,” Gregoryan declared.
