Gorman faced rival Faith Lutheran on Tuesday, September 27th in a tug and go five set match.

Outside hitter Leilia Taoiloa reflected on her performance, “I got blocked six times, I definitely need to focus more on looking at the blockers before I go up to hit.” Despite this stat, Taoiloa recalled her great passing throughout the game, “I was able to execute accurate passes for our setters to set all of our hitters.”

Freshman setter Trinity Thompson contemplated their performance, “we could have started and finished the sets off stronger.”

Fortunately, Gorman pulled through winning a close, nail biting game.
