Bishop Gorman volleyball star Leilia Toailoa commits to the University of Alabama

Junior outside hitter Leilia Toailoa has recently sealed the deal with the University of Alabama. 

Toailoa said she has been playing volleyball since the age of 10,“the ups and downs that volleyball took me through are what really made me fall in love with the sport; they helped build my character.” 

Toailoa recalled having dreams of attending Alabama since she was a little girl, “Alabama’s competitive nature and incredible team chemistry are what led me to tell myself that one day I would be apart of it.” 

Prior to her official visit, she planned on keeping all of her options on the table and staying open minded, but as soon as she stepped foot on the campus she knew it was where she was meant to be, “When I arrived on campus, I knew in my heart that this is where I wanted to be for the next part of my academic and athletic career… it was home away from home.”
