Last Monday, girls soccer took on Faith Lutheran for their final home game of the 2025 season, celebrating their senior night and pink out game.
To start the night off, JV and non-senior varsity players lined up to create a path for seniors and their families to walk down as Head Coach Doug Borgel called their names and shared a little bit about each senior player. The crowd was packed with support for the class of 2026.
With all seven seniors on the team playing soccer for all four years of high school, they were able to form a bond that has been carried into their everyday lives.
“Being on this team has given me a great experience of forming friendships and making memories both on and off the field,” Breanna Cross ‘26 said.
This night allowed the girls to reflect on the four years of their soccer journeys. Eastern Washington University soccer commit Devyn Giraldo ‘26 said, “we bonded so much and each player has a certain spot and position where it just works out and makes everything come together.”
This season’s senior night was the perfect way to commemorate the girls’ final home game as Gaels.
“Senior night to me means honoring and celebrating the memories and events that the team has been through as our season comes to an end,” Cross said.
