Bishop Gorman girls basketball senior night took place on Feb. 6 at the House of Glory. The Lady Gaels took on Clark High School and beat them with a score of 51-7.
The team had five seniors this year Savannah Searcy ‘25, Miranda Buch ‘25, Teira Bell ‘25, Lila Neubauer ‘25, and Leah George ‘25.
Since all the seniors played different positions, they were all able to play on the court together, a great way to commemorate one of their last games together.
All of these seniors hold so many memories in the House of Glory together. One of those memories was, “definitely winning state last year, our team really just dropped the bomb on everyone” Buch said.
The Lady Gaels played a home playoff game against Liberty High School on February 13, and won with a score of 52-27.
Next, they had a matchup against Democracy Prep on February 19 and lost 60-49 in overtime, unfortunately knocking them out of the playoffs.
With the end of this season, and the loss of five seniors, the remaining players look forward to what is to come next season.
