The world’s largest Christmas light maze, complete with a festive ice skating trial, seasonal foods and beverages, and so much more, has returned to Las Vegas Ballpark this Nov 22-Dec 29 for the fourth year in a row.
The holiday spectacle has become one of the most popular and well-reviewed experiences throughout the Las Vegas Valley. With five million twinkling lights and a 100-foot tree surrounded by all sorts of activities and attractions, it’s hard for anyone to miss Enchant while driving by Summerlin’s ballpark every Christmas season.
As stated by Enchant PR Manager McKinzie Cogswell, “[Enchant] is the creative creation of Kevin Johnston, who literally works year-round on the concept and execution of the event.” Johnston has established different locations throughout the United States in San Jose, Seattle, and Las Vegas, where three million guests are hosted annually. “The company has quickly earned industry recognition as one of the fastest-growing live entertainment concepts in North America,” Cogswell said.
Besides nation-wide statistics, Enchant and all of its attractions is a favorite among students, couples, and families all over the city. “You can tell Enchant is mainly trending for kids and families, but I would recommend it to anyone and everyone,” Teagan Sacco ‘28, who went to go check out the experience herself, said, “as a high school student, I loved everything about it. It was so much fun and so gorgeous!”
Attendees typically find themselves wrapped up in a maze, ice skating through the Las Vegas Ballpark, or sipping on an iconic light-up drink. “My favorite part was definitely ice skating with my friends, and the hot chocolate I had was amazing,” Sacco ‘28 stated. Additionally, there are a handful of local artisans and vendors lining the entire park with anything from handmade crafts to festive treats to share.
With tickets starting at $25, there is no doubt the tradition has turned into quite the hit. No matter how old or how festive, Enchant Las Vegas has something for everyone this December. As said by Cogswell, “It truly is a pretty magical experience once you see it first-hand, and the perfect one-stop for all things holiday.”
