The Catch Me If You Can Musical is a jazzy and thrilling performance with amazing musical talent that had the audience on the edge of their seats.
This musical was performed from November 8th on to November 17th. The cast did a phenomenal job at portraying the characters and the audience was shocked at their amazing talent.
Sarah Emery ‘25, who performed different characters and was in many complicated singing and dancing acts in the musical, said, “I love that it is based on a true story and I enjoyed all of the adaptations of it. It was so cool to be part of one.”
Emery had so much fun being involved in this exciting play and enjoyed the musical. Not only did she enjoy it, but many students who were in the audience also did.
Luke Martin’s understudy, Cooper Macalalad ‘26, was the lead on November 13th and was able to showcase his acting and musical gifts to everyone. This rising star did an amazing job and had the audience hooked on his performance and dancing. Sutton Mcveigh ‘26 expressed, “Cooper Macalalad ‘’26 played a hard and demanding role but succeeded under the pressure, giving the audience a great performance to watch.”
Many people would agree that the spirit of the cast is what makes the performance so intriguing. Emery stated, “Gorman students make such an amazing cast and it was so much fun getting to know each person and working together to make something we all love.”
The talented cast was able to work on a musical that they enjoy, love, and have passion for. This was displayed in the high energy, widely entertaining, and unforgettable performance that these students showcased in the musical, Catch Me If You Can.
