Monday night was awards night at Bishop Gorman. Many awards were given out, including student of the year for each class/elective.
One of these winners was Alexandra Ott ‘26, who won Student of the Year in Intro to Broadcast and Honors Spanish 4. Ott expressed her joy in winning these awards. “I was so excited! I try to work hard in all my classes, so I really appreciate the recognition. I know it’s a hard decision for teachers to decide who’s student of the year for different classes, so I am extremely grateful that I was chosen!”
Additionally, students and parents could view the art display in the foyer from the different art classes before and after the ceremony, and the orchestra was playing music upon arrival.
All in all, awards night was a great way to honor those students who strive to do their best in all they do at school.
