This week is Winter Wiik at Bishop Gorman. To kick off the week, students got to wear comfy clothes. 

Mila Mayo ‘25 said, “I love that you can just throw on comfy clothes on and go to school wearing them. I think it ties into the theme because when somebody plays video games, not just the Wii, you’re usually in comfy clothes.” 

Tomorrow, students get to wear jerseys and merch from their favorite sports teams.

Hi! My name is Makenzie Medford and I am part of the Class of 2026. This is my first year as Editor in Chief of The Lance, and my third year on the paper. Previously, I held the positions of Staff Writer (freshmen year) and School News Editor (sophomore year). Other than writing for the paper at school, I am a member of WiSTEM, SASA, and Teen Empowerment at school. Outside of school, I play club soccer and I am a member of the Core Team at Holy Spirit. I am very excited to see what's in store for the paper in the future!
