Womens golf finished up their season placing 3rd in the 5A Nevada State championships with two players receiving top ten individual finishes.
Two of the Bishop Gorman players, Samantha Harris ‘26 and Zoey Parker ‘24, finished in the top ten sending the team into 3rd place.
“We competed against five other schools in the Las Vegas Valley at different golf courses in our league,” stated Samatha Harris ‘26, “the top four scores after 18 holes from each team are combined and used for the team score.”
This is how the season works: the team needed to compete against five other schools and be top two in their league in order to make it to the championship. The team worked hard and got into the championships.
“I’m very proud of how our team performed this season,” stated Samatha Harris.
