As the Class of 2024 made their way around campus for their Senior Parade, they celebrated some of their final memories at Bishop Gorman with their classmates.
The Senior Parade is always a very memorable event for seniors, as they’re getting prepared to start a new chapter of their lives. The moment is commemorated with all seniors riding on scooters and skateboards starting at the baseball parking lot all the way down to the Quad.
Sydney Chestnut ‘24 stated, “To be a senior feels almost unreal. Having to think about leaving soon while also finding colleges to apply to is stressful, but also bittersweet.”
The mob strolled their way through the campus with hefty smiles and pedaling feet.
“It made me remember how fun scooters are,” stated Logan Ashley ’24.
The experience brought nostalgia of the seniors growth throughout their lives. The child-like attire and scooters brought reminiscing memories, “It really makes you look back and realize how fast time goes,” Ashley said.
It all ended at the Quad where ASG provided donuts for all seniors to grab, eat, and chat with their friends and peers.
Mya Ruiz ‘24 said, “My favorite place I walked by was through the front of the school, through the doors, gave me a memory of walking through during my freshman year.”
The Senior Parade was one of the many enjoyable events seniors have that they will never forget. Chestnut then added, “The senior parade made me be happy being surrounded by all my friends.”
