Friday’s theme was Extreme Blue and Orange, a way to show off our school spirit. 

Jessica Warnstedt ‘26 commented, “The theme on Friday really expressed our school spirit with everyone following the theme and I saw no one wearing their uniform.”

Hi! My name is Makenzie Medford and I am part of the Class of 2026. This is my first year as Editor in Chief of The Lance, and my third year on the paper. Previously, I held the positions of Staff Writer (freshmen year) and School News Editor (sophomore year). Other than writing for the paper at school, I am a member of WiSTEM, SASA, and Teen Empowerment at school. Outside of school, I play club soccer and I am a member of the Core Team at Holy Spirit. I am very excited to see what's in store for the paper in the future!
