Lebron James breaks scoring record

Lebron James breaks Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s all time scoring record which stood for 38 years.

Los Angeles Lakers superstar Lebron James passed the all time scoring record in NBA history, previously held by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the past 38 years. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who was the sole leader in all time points in the NBA (38,387 pts), was recently dethroned by Lebron James 45 point game against Oklahoma City Thunder on February 7th.

In Lebron James’ interview after breaking the record, he brags, “I know I can play a couple more years.”

With Lebron James planning to play a couple more years, it makes us all wonder if the record will ever be broken again.

As Lebron has broken many other records as well, this may be the conclusion to the debate on who is the “GOAT” (greatest of all time) in NBA history.
