Ice Dunes

Wyatt Madison '24, Galea Editor

Ice rocks glistening in a desert,

my Faith ever so barren:

my Doubt ever so broadened,

the Heart inside brews storm-cloud weather.

the Ice, upside down, stabs:

It stabs gently, they bleed — its Life — from my Heart,

why why:

fight Myself, my son, my Life

Clip the Ice, the Pain still bites;

embrace the Ice, thus ensues a constant fight(Fight);

Life?

ice rocks glow as Light glistens, shining, shining into the Night.
