December is notorious for its traditions that wind up the year, but Spotify Wrapped has taken the world by storm.

Every December, Spotify releases a summary of top artists, albums, and songs, called Spotify Wrapped. When freshman Lauren Gross was asked if she looks forward to the Spotify Wrapped each year, she responded, “Yes because it’s exciting to see who my favorite artist is.”

Spotify Wrapped is loved by teens all over, however some had complaints that the results were inaccurate. Bella Dupreez, a freshman, stated, “ Everybody had Drake on their Spotify Wrapped.”

One of the main features of Spotify Wrapped is that fans can see their top five artists. Freshman Alyson Wasserburger listens to Drake the most according to Spotify Wrapped but said “I expected my number one artist to be Kendrick Lamar.”

Spotify Wrapped closes up the year on a good note. That’s why when Sam Coffee was asked if he uses Spotify or Apple Music, he responded “Spotify because it’s just better.”
