The Class of 2023 took some time to reflect on the special moments lived on the Fertita Field.

Senior defensive back and Oregon commit, Kodi Decambra, reflected on the senior night ceremony, his high school football career nearing its end, “it’s surreal…being here together with my brothers on this field, it was a special moment.” Decambra added, “I’m looking forward to everyone going their separate ways and being great in the next aspect of life.”

Coaches and teammates helped influence University of Hawaii commit Aiden McCombers success both on and off the field. He feels he will take what he has learned to the islands to help turn the Bows’ program around. He reminisced, “Coach Michael Cosgrove helped me take my game to the next level and played a huge role in the player I am today. I’d also like to thank my teammate, Kodi Decembra, who pushes me everyday to be a better version of myself.”

Playing a big role in the team’s success, football team manager Matthew Spaeth felt great joy as his name was called over Fertita Field. Spaeth stated, “I got acknowledged by everyone so it definitely felt good,” and funnily added that, “it was crazy when I hit that Ray Lewis dance.”
